"For work, I was a warehouse worker. And I did it for more than 25 years. For the remaining years that have accompanied me to this day, I took care of my wife instead. She was not well. After a cerebral ischemia that struck her all of a sudden, unfortunately, her life and mine changed. After the incident, my wife could not make herself understood. She understood that she was not being understood. And perhaps that was the most difficult thing for her to accept. She remained unable to walk independently. She needed constant and adequate support from someone who genuinely loved her, who took her to heart, even to complete the simplest gestures. I loved my wife until the last day we spent together. Now she is no longer here and I miss her so much."
